Take shelter from the rain and celebrate the official launch of Inbound: Houston. On view October 26 - November 22, this city-wide project from artist Karyn Olivier encompasses 13 billboards along Houston's freeway. Olivier will replace the usual advertisements with images of what would be there if the billboards did not exist. The sky, trees, and buildings obstructed by the ads will now be revealed.
Presented in collaboration with dabfoto creative, CBS Outdoor, DiverseWorks Artspace, KUHF, and the UH School of Art and Moores School of Music, with major support from Creative Capital and Karen Stein Pulaski.
