At the Speakeasy, a select group of artists present their latest work and the story behind its creation. Visual artists share slides and writers perform readings in this supportive and informal atmosphere. A question and answer session follows, where the audience can find out more about creative methods, technical challenges, and everything in between. The Speakeasy provides a place to get to know and get inspired by the many artists who live in or travel to Houston. |
