Culture 365 Members play a critical part in the success of Spacetaker’s mission to provide artists and non-profits access to economic development, continuing education, and networking opportunities to support their professional growth. Spacetaker partners with businesses that want to support and participate in Houston’s flourishing arts community. Artist, Nonprofit, and Business Members of the Culture 365 Program are dedicated to seeing that community thrive.
The Culture 365 Program is designed to cultivate meaningful relationships between artists and arts organizations and those businesses and patrons who support their endeavors. Featured on Spacetaker’s website, at events, and in promotional materials, members enjoy unique exposure demonstrating their role in the creative ecosystem. Artists and their audiences take note when businesses contribute to Houston’s exciting cultural landscape.
To join the Culture 365 Program as an Artist, Nonprofit, or Business Member, select your membership from the right-hand menu.
Spacetaker's online utility allows its users to interface with the Culture 365 network to help make the Houston art economy one of the strongest in the the nation. Culture 365 Members enjoy the benefits of the website's enhanced features.
Once you create a free account, artists and nonprofits can:
• Create an online profile
• Add images to an online portfolio linked to your profile
• Add events & exhibitions to the Spacetaker Culture Guide (calendar) linked to profiles
• Add Press Releases to Culture Wire to be distributed via Spacetaker's network (Twitter, Facebook, and other social media outlets)
• Create Field Guide listings (similar to a classifieds system, only free) for artist opportunities, the swap shop, and arts-related materials, services, and spaces
Members (Artist $50 / Nonprofits $250 / Businesses $500) can:
• Enjoy preferred placement in our listings (Feature blocks on site's front page and Artist Registry or Org Registry)
• Add digital assets to MULTIPLE linked portfolios (unlimited image & multimedia files)
• Add banner ads and web advertising for discounted rates
With Marketplace Access ($25), members can:
• Sell artwork, tickets, or other goods/services through our e-commerce engine (for only a minimal fee of 7% for credit card use administration)- which is also linked directly to profiles

• Ability to submit for features with our media partners, like 002 Houston Magazine
• Special discounts with Culture 365 Partners, like Copy.com
• Presence on a site with growing web statistics: averaging 18,000 hits a month since October launch

Unlike other social networking sites, we are endeavoring to create a community specifically featuring the best of Houston's art scene, with renewed efforts to reach out to those entities that will help you sell your work, sell tickets, grow your audience, and be successful.
*Spacetaker programming is curated and featured artists/orgs are not required to be Culture 365 Members. However, when possible, Spacetaker makes an effort to feature those entities who have a stake in our organization's success.
