ARC Workhsop: Right of Publicity

Join Spacetaker and Texas Accountants & Lawyers for the Arts for a free seminar on the Right of Publicity led by attorney Keith Jaasma.

The right of publicity protects individuals from having their names or likeness appropriated for commercial or other valuable purposes without compensation.

Learn when and how you can use an image of famous and non-famous people in your art, what is fair use, what are the limitations on using the names and images of individuals for commercial purposes, and the extent to which promoters can use names or images to promote an artist’s work.

In addition, learn how to protect and control the use of your name and work from being used for commercial purposes.

This seminar is free and open to all. So we know how many people to expect, please RSVP here.
