Lisa Orr: Epergnier at Optical Project

Lisa Orr's ceramics exaggerate traditional porcelain decoration with the playful and abundant qualities of Mexican earthenware.  Orr has invented an eclectic palette of production processes combining molding, wheel throwing, stamps, slips, sprigs and amazing multihued glazes to create muscular decorations that arm-wrestle basic forms for control. Full of dreamy detail and dishwasher safe, her artwork is best presented with a lovely meal.
