The Masquerade Theatre presents
RENT
A Rock Opera
Book, Music and Lyrics by Jonathan Larson
Based on the opera “La bohème” by Giacomo Puccini
ABOUT THE SHOW:
The Masquerade Theatre is proud to present RENT, a rock opera, by Jonathan Larson. Based on the opera La bohème by Giacomo Puccini, RENT follows a year in the life of eight friends living in the dying post-Bohemia of New York's East Village. They learn to cope with themselves adrift in the chaos of modern life and the ties that bind them all together. By the end of the show, you will come to understand that when it comes to living, there is truly "no day but today".
