About Y. E. Torres (ms. YET)
Y. E. Torres is a multidisciplinary artist based in Houston, TX. She acts as a visual artist, dancer, costume designer, photographer, curator and collaborator on a wide range of projects including performance, installation and multi-media happenings which draw attention to the inclusion of non-similar artforms into one event. Her dance performances range from folkloric, modern bellydance fusion and an investigation of improvising movement to sound. Torres is co-founder of the troupe The Renegades and Their Collection of Carnies and performs with guitarist, Sandy Ewen.
