ROCO features principal trombonist, Brian Logan, and California Reds
in a “Wine and Music Tasting” event, March 30th
Great music, fine wine and good company – that’s “ROCO company,” or ROCOco. River Oaks Chamber Orchestra hosts several “music tastings” each season. These popular events are held in wine cellars or tasting rooms, feature individual ROCO soloists, and pair music with wine or beer and food in a lively, intimate setting.
·
On March 30th, 2010, we’ll feature principal trombonist, Brian Logan, paired with delicious selection of California Red wines. Brian is a graduate of the University of Houston, and has performed all over the U.S., Mexico, and Europe. Brian has appeared as a soloist with National Repertory Orchestra and was the winner of the 2002 Cynthia Woods Mitchell and 1998 Moores School of Music Concerto Competitions. A versatile performer, Brian has also performed with The Eagles, Randy Travis, Burt Bacharach, Bernadette Peters, Michael Bolton, Pink Martini, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, and Rockapella.
