The Dybbuk: Between Two Worlds ~ A multimedia chamber opera
A broken promise, a dead lover, a possessed bride. A multimedia contemporary chamber opera inspired by a mystical Jewish folktale. After S. Anky's timeless Yiddish play of the same name. The music intertwines folk elements with contemporary textures to create a haunting, self-contained world, while multiple live video projections combine to tell a powerful story of transcendent passion between two ill-fated lovers.
