Applications for 2010 Houston Fringe Festival

The 2010 Houston Fringe Festival is an awesome five-day performing arts festival in May and it is STILL ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS until February 28! The Houston Fringe Festival showcases new works in theatre, dance, film, performance art, music and whatever else we can get our hands on. All venues are non-traditional spaces such as bars, coffee shops, and galleries in the Montrose neighborhood, the artistic heart of Houston. Applying productions should be able to fit into a two hour time slot, including set up and break down. Smaller pieces are welcome and will more than likely be carefully and craftily paired with another small production in order to fill the two hour time slot. In an effort to support the local community the Houston Fringe Festival donates a percentage of its profits to a local educational non profit organization. AND in an effort to help artists get PAID for what we do, %40 of the festivals profits are returned to the participants.

Applications and more information can be found online at www.houstonfringefestival.org. There is a $25 application fee. Applications can be emailed to houstonfringefestival@gmail.com or snail-mailed to 1740 Harold, Houston TX 77098. Any questions can be directed to.

Let's have a festival!
