How can I join Siege of The Skeletons?
Create a human skeleton from paper-mache following our guidelines for submission. Your work will be on display along with other skeleton submissions from teams all over Houston at The Health Museum during the month of October.Skeletons are judged by a panel of Texas Medical Center partners and museum professionals. Museum visitors are also allowed to cast their votes for their overall favorite skeletal creations.
Who can participate?
This event is open to schools, organizations, businesses and individual participants ages 10 – adult.

Get started with this simple guide on how to make a paper mache skeleton and use the resources in the documents section on your left to let your imagination flow! Don't forget to review the mandatory guidelines to ensure your submission will not be rejected.

October 1 - Siege of the Skeletons opens to the public
October 23 - Last Day for Visitor's Choice Voting
October 30 - Announcement/Award of Winners
October 31 - Last Day of Siege of the Skeletons
November:
November 1 – Skeleton Pick Up (12:00 – 5:00 p.m.)
