Houston Community College-Southwest is hiring a 9-month full-time art professor.
The incumbent will teach a maximum load of fifteen (15) equated hours each semester (up to eighteen class contact hours each week) with demonstrated expertise and experience in classroom teaching of either ceramics, sculpture, or metalsmithing studio courses. Must also be able to teach art lecture courses and participate as a full-time instructor in the activities of the department, division and college.
This instructor will teach two or three 3D studio courses, or a combination of studio and lecture courses where applicable. This instructor will also manage 3D studios.

One of the following is required from an accredited institution: 1) Master's degree with both eighteen (18) graduate hours in Studio Art and eighteen (18) graduate hours in Art History; or 2) Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art.
