ArtPrize is a radically open exhibition giving away the world's largest art prize, which is decided by public vote. Any artist can register any type of work on artprize.org. Artists must secure a venue within a three-square mile area of downtown Grand Rapids. For 2010, there are over 200 to choose from.
The only limit to what can be shown is what an artist can secure space for.
ArtPrize 2010 introduces 10 potential juried awards alongside the top 10 cash prizes. FIRST PRIZE IS $250,000!
Jurors and sponsors for each award will be announced in the spring/summer as they are secured.
