Open Casting Call
Casting Location: Dallas
Professor Eugene Martin and Producers of the Advanced Film Class are hosting open casting calls. They seek actors of all ages, ethnicities, and levels of experience, as well as actors fluent in Spanish. It is highly encouraged that the actor comes prepared with a short monologue, headshot, and résumé. The casting calls will take place in the Radio, Television and Film building at the University of North Texas campus on February 2 from 6pm-9pm and February 3 and 4 from 2pm-5pm.
The eight short films being produced by students vary in genres, so all talent is welcomed. The films have a three-day shooting schedule that will take place on a specific weekend throughout the spring semester, beginning February 2012.
In addition, three of the films require young actors and actresses from the ages of 5-10. There is a specific call for children on February 4 from 12-2 in the same location. While a specific time is set for children, they are welcome to attend any of the three previously mentioned open casting calls.
