Please join us for drinks and conversation at Boheme Cafe' & Wine Bar on Thursday, March 7th. On this evening, a portion of the proceeds from all drink sales during the 5:00PM -7:00PM happy hour will go to support The Human Tour, a project of Houston artists Carrie Schneider and Alex Tu.
Fresh Arts' Cultured Cocktails at Boheme Cafe' & Wine Bar has become a popular weekly event that has grown tremendously over the past few years. Participating organizations receive 10% of all drink sales during the 5:00PM -7:00PM happy hour. Cultured Cocktails is a community building fundraiser in celebration of the arts, and since its inception in late 2008 it has raised more than $66,000 for Houston Area artists and arts organizations.
About The Human Tour:
Carrie Schneider and Alex Tu are walking the route laid out in 1987 in Michael Galbreth's The Human Tour.
Join them for either of the remaining walks scheduled on March 5 or the final walk on March 10, when they complete the entire route. An arrival party is scheduled for 7pm, Sunday, March 10th, 2013 at Natachee's on Main Street. Join the artists for a parade, video screening, and ceremony to transfer the suits from functional cover to artifacts of the odyssey.
