ELIZABETH CENCINI
A graduate from the University of Houston Fine Arts/Studio painting program with high honors, Elizabeth is a dedicated full time artist, and art teacher with extensive training in painting. In addition, she received painting training in classical techniques during a residency period in Florence, Italy in 2003 and 2004. Her work has been exhibited in several galleries and shows in Houston and has been published in many local magazines. She holds a studio at Winter Street Studios, studio #20, and works as an art consultant for Houston Art Consultant.
My newest series is a dedication to all things beautiful. As a second time mother, I want to honor the portrayal of women and their femininity. I am amazed at what our bodies are capable of and I am very fond of how special we are as creatures of this earth recreating. I developed the ballet series as a love for dance and for the love of the human form. They are rich deep paintings that bring serenity to your soul. My paintings are full of beauty and energy.
