ABOUT US

Horse Head Theatre Co’s mission is to re-energize Houston audiences and artists with theatrically designed experiences using local talent and non-traditional methods.

Horse Head Theatre Co. fulfills its purpose, vision, and mission through creating productions that facilitate recharging in all participants (audience, actors, designers, etc.). We believe that the type of crowd that should be inherent in the theatre is one that experiences as much passion, aliveness, and emotion as one would find at a major sporting event.

Formed in the summer of 2008, Horse Head Theatre Co. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Founding company members include Anthony Contello, Kevin Holden, K.C. Scharnberg, Drake Simpson, Jon Thompson, Frank J. Vela, and Bree Welch.

Red Light Winter was listed among 16 of 2009’s “most memorable shows" in the greater Houston area.
