I subscribe to the idea that the art of photography is akin to the act of pointing. My photography is about directing the viewer’s attention to some captured fragment of time and space that, for obvious reasons or reasons mysterious even to myself, intrigued or amused me enough to think it was worth sharing. I am most satisfied by those images that contain a healthy amount of ambiguity, those that allow room for the viewer to apply his own set of personal references and experiences in determining what the photograph "means", as one determines the "meaning" of a Rorschach ink blot.
