My name is Krisitne Huete- I am a painter primarily,  however I do enjoy printmaking , drawing and sculting as well.

I am a native Houstonian. I attended HSPVA and graduated in the class of 2004. I graduated from the California College of the arts in 2008 with a BFA - majoring in painting.

I am activly producing artwork in Houston.

My art is a reflection of my appreciation for the miraculous color interactions, and organic forms found all throughout nature.  I am driven by the unlimited combinations between colors, mainly for the attractions and reactions that they have to each other due to the light source. The forms in my art are meant to tiger the mind to think of vast organic spaces. My colors are put together based on the energy that reverberates out and into eyes of the viewer with intention of uplifting the mental and emotional moods of the viewer.

I strive to ignite an excited appreciation for nature within the viewer.
