In the enormous world of art, I respond to work that evokes an emotional response from within myself. It follows that I create imagery intended to evoke an emotional response from the viewer. This applies to whatever subject I am targeting whether it's a client's grandson or a crazy, barking dog. The expression of self through the lens is a particular challenge and it is my passion. My work through CathARTx (a non-profit organization providing at-risk youth the opportunity for creative expression) and other workshop-style settings provides the teaching outlet I enjoy so much.
