I've always tried to approach painting in a unique way: to take it out of the frame, make it tangible and inspire the viewer to participate in the creative process.

My modular wall sculpture is comprised of individual wall panels and removable tiles that symbolize everything from actual objects to metaphoric content.  When composing a piece, the camera is almost as important as the art itself, since it records what I've completed before the work evolves into something else again.  I focus on pure abstraction but will occasionally put in something very literal to create an element of surprise.

It's an artistic challenge to release control over the work but in doing so, my reward is knowing that the collector will discover a live painting -- one that changes with the light, the time of day or with just a whim.
