Neighborhood Centers Inc. keeps Houston a place of opportunity for all those working for a better life, through resources, education and connection.

Our 59 service locations offer comprehensive community-based programs for people at every stage of life - from infants to seniors. We work with residents of emerging communities to help them discover the strengths and skills necessary to become productive, prosperous and self-sufficient.

Neighborhood Centers is a United Way agency, having been a part of Greater Houston since 1907.

Many of our services at our community centers currently offer performing and visual arts classes, performances, and workshops. We regularly host art exhibitions at all or any of our 6 community centers.

Artist Opportunities available at Baker-Ripley Neighborhood Center:

Spaces for artists’ rehearsals
Spaces and captive audiences (youth and adults) for performances
Day Art Shop and Welcome Center lobby art exhibitions spaces
