Stephanie Saint Sanchez - La Chicana Laundry Pictures

Raised in Beaumont corrupted in Houston...As founder of La Chicana Laundry Pictures she has written, produced, and directed over 25 award winning genre splitting shorts based on the images, sounds, and psychosis in her surroundings both real and imagined. Recipiant of Lawndale Art Centers Studio Residency Program and Southwest ALternate Media Program's (SWAMP) Emerging filmmakers fellowship.  Aside from film she also digs creating imersive enviroments for video like installations DOLLS and Cartoon Showtimes as well as Art Cars and playing old records as alter-ego DJ Supa Dupa Big Lush. This year she is working on a new web series called "Chancla La Tejana" a sort of Auntie Mame meets Gloria meets Training Day Action Comedy set in Houston's Denver Harbor circa 1983.
