I am inspired by all impressionistic art and use bright colors and many mediums in an impressionistic, folk art style.  I re-purpose and re-claim wood, windows, canvas, bottles, tiles, anything available, and transform them into beautiful works of art! I primarily use acrylics, oils, and pastels.  My paintings are of New Orleans Jazz themes, landscapes, cityscapes, people, animals, whatever image strikes me.  I have been a full time artist since 1995, and my originals are in the homes and businesses of collectors from all over the United States, Canada, France, Sweden, Australia, Denmark, England, and beyond!  My greatest wish has been to share my art with the world—and I am well on my way!

I grew up poor in a small Louisiana town.  While I loved original art, I found that it was very expensive to own and thus, out of reach for many low income art admirers.  I vowed then that my art would always be affordable for even the poorest consumer.  I believe strongly that original art should be enjoyed by all people regardless of class or economic status.  While I know that the dollar value of my art is much greater than the actual prices I charge, I truly appreciate that the real value of my art is in the joy it brings my customers and art lovers around the world!
