Born in New York City, many of my artistic influences have come from countless trips to MoMA, the Guggenheim Museums, and the MET as well as the various art galleries in New York.  Over the last several years, I have also been greatly motivated by the southwestern artists in Santa Fe, New Mexico, as well as the urban vinyl toy movement, mostly concentrated throughout California and New York.

I have embarked on my artist "adventure" a bit later in my career, as I am a classically-trained professional oboist.  My dad is a jewelry designer/creator extraordinaire, so I'm sure my artistic ideals have transferred over in some way from him. When I was six, I did glue a bunch of his semi-precious stones on my construction paper for school- maybe that was a hint of things to come...

The majority of my training has been in the areas of ceramic sculpture and pottery, however, during the past few years,  I have really fallen in love with customizing urban vinyl toys.  It is my favorite thing to do, plus... nothing to blow up in the kiln- yay!

I strive to impart whimsy, humor, color, and lots of different textures into my work.  All of my pieces are handmade (urban vinyl art toys are personally customized by hand), and one-of-a-kind.

Adopt a critter today- they're always on the look-out for cool people to take them home!
