How to Support

In its mission to provide artists access to economic development, continuing education, and networking opportunities to support their professional growth, Spacetaker is pleased to announce the 6th Annual Winter Holiday Art Market (WHAM), a weekend art sale and celebration of Houston's diverse art scene, this November 18-20th at Winter Street Studios.

Over the last 5 years, WHAM has generated more than $244,000 for over 260 local artists and continues to grow as an important venue for Houston artists. Each year, we reach out to the community for support to minimize overhead costs and thus, put even more resources into the hands of our participating artists. We need your help! Through a sponsorship of WHAM, you would be joining our campaign to cultivate the talent in our own backyard, while availing yourself of the opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to our community and to generate valuable visibility for you or your business. In exchange for your generous, tax-deductible donation, Spacetaker offers a variety of underwriting benefits tailored to your desired level of participation.

o    Student Exhibition Sponsor- $5,000.00
·       Exclusive Sponsorship of the Student Exhibition (each year we partner with the CAMH Teen Council to showcase work by these talented young artists alongside the professional artists participating in WHAM)

·       Logo recognition on signage in Exhibition Area which also functions as the heavily trafficked Central Checkout Area

o    Entertainment Sponsor- $2,500.00
·       Exclusive Sponsorship of WHAM Entertainment (each year we hire performing artists to provide entertainment during WHAM, providing a means to showcase their work to a large audience and offer financial support)

·       Logo recognition on signage in Performance Area

o    Vendor Breakfast Sponsor- $1,000.00 or In Kind Equivalent
·       Sponsorship of the WHAM Vendor Breakfast (we offer a special opportunity to foster ongoing relationships between participating artists and those entities able to market and sell their work year-round)
·       Logo recognition on all printed materials, electronic media, and website
·       Logo recognition on signage in Vendor Breakfast Area

We must have your financial or in-kind commitment by Friday, October 21, 2011 in order for your business logo to be included on our printed WHAM marketing materials.
